It's hot. Not only just a little hot but REALLY FUCKING HOT! With all this hot weather, the kids and I just stay inside or they swim but I'm not even motivated to go out in this heat and play golf at any of the clubs. I feel like my face is going to melt off and, honestly, what kind of beautiful person would I be without my face. Martin Brodeur, master of goal and sunscreen application.

Sometimes, I hate summers in Montréal except that they're better than New Jersey. Actually, most places are better than New Jersey so I'll just deal with it. I guess it's a good thing I am leaving for Toronto tonight. I say that with such enthusiasm. Wooooo Toronto.

I like the way that we were told initially that this whole voting process was going to be a secret. A secret? How the fuck do you hide 700+ hockey players in a city like Toronto? Needless to say, I'll be seeing a lot of you I haven't seen in a while. I'm looking forward to it.

If you're gonna be in Toronto, be sure to look me up so I can treat you to dinner... your choice of restaurant, or even better or worse a home cooked meal! :)

Every hockey player in the NHL will be there until Thursday. Sounds fun, eh?

Sounds like a party I'm gonna have to crash. And I know it's not a party, it's the whole end to the lockout vote. But still let me know when and where, and we'll have a culinary experience together! :)

I'm pretty sure we don't all have to go to Toronto. Something about voting online, which should make it beyond the abilities of most of our fellow union members.

Yeah, if it doesn't have a controller and plugs into your TV, it's beyond the reach of some people.
